At SLO Ocean Currents, our goal is to make sure you're completely satisfied with the products and services you receive here. If at any time you have a question, return, or need something taken care of, please feel free to come into the store and talk with us or give us a call. We do work hard to resolve any issue.
Returns and Refunds
SLO Ocean Currents online Return and Refund Policy. You may return any new, unused merchandise in its original packaging with all manuals and paperwork for a refund excluding shipping fees within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in new condition without any damage from packaging or shipping or storage. Our refund policy does not apply to special orders or non-stocking items.
For online purchases- above applies with these modifications. A return authorization or RMA number is not necessary but we do require you to download, completely fill out and send in our return merchandise form. Along with a receipt. At the moment there are no returns for snorkels. Buyer to pay return shipping fees.
Rental Gear
To reserve equipment, the entire rental must be paid for in advance. Non paid reservations are not guaranteed for the items and dates requested.
Cancellations are not refunded so be sure you need the gear before you reserve it, we do under special circumstances give rental credit for future use at the discretion of SLOOC.
There are no refunds for items returned unused.
Gear must be returned washed with soap and water or a $25 service fee will be charged. You are welcome to wash your gear here if needed. If it is returned dirty you have the option to rewash or pay the fee.
For rental regulators, if you return the regulator without the 1st Stage Dust Cap put back in place, there will be a $25 rebuild fee to rebuild that regulator before it can be rented out again.
Any missing or damaged rental items will be charged to the renter for replacement.
Cancellations and Transfers
All Scuba Diving classes are subject to a transfer or cancellation fee within 7 days of the class start date. No refunds will be given on classes after the start of the class.
REFUND/Cancellation POLICY:
Single Day Charters: Unless stated otherwise, this refund policy is in effect for all one day SLO Ocean Currents trips. More than 2 weeks before the trip departure date, Refunds minus a 10% cancellation fee will be issued at your request. At 2 weeks or less before the trip departure date, Refunds(including deposits) will ONLY be issued under the following conditions: (1) The trip is FULL AND your spot has been sold (2) The trip was cancelled.
Multi-Day Charters: Unless stated otherwise, this refund policy is in effect for all Multi-day SLO Ocean Currents trips. More than 1 month before the trip departure date, Refunds minus a 10% cancellation fee will be issued at your request. At 1 month or less before the trip departure date, Refunds(including deposits) will ONLY be issued under the following conditions: (1) The trip is FULL AND your spot has been sold (2) The trip was canceled.
All destinations are "weather permitting" and are NOT guaranteed. If you wish to keep your refund as "instore credit" there will be no cancellation fee assessed. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please discuss it with SLOOC before signing up for a trip.
