PADI Rescue Diver Course
RESCUE DIVER COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Rescue Diver Course is an important and crucial step in expanding a diver's knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. The course is demanding, but realistic in its conduct, content, and approach. Rescue training expands your knowledge of diving, increases your level of diving skill and preparedness, and makes you more aware of what is happening around you in the diving environment. You will learn how to be adequately prepared for an emergency and how to manage a diving emergency if one should occur. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning. The Rescue Diver course is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership training (Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor) and is required for the Master Scuba Diver rating.
Prerequisites- Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Responder or equivalent CPR or First Aid. PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers who are at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course. You will need to complete the PADI E-Learning Rescue Diver portion on-line before your first session. Sign up at www.PADI.com or contact us for a E-Learning code.
