SLO Ocean Currents' repair department currently services
our main manufacturers such as Scubapro, Mares, Sea Quest
/ Aqualung, US Divers, Sherwood, and Genesis Scuba. All brands
listed above are done in-house and service typically takes
7-10 business days. Rushes are available at additional cost.
If you have another brand of dive equipment, we can have it
serviced for you. When servicing, please remember documentation
for warranty work if applicable.
Cylinder servicing such as air fills, visuals, and hydrostatic
testing is available through SLO Ocean Currents. Air fills
can typically be completed in 10-15 minutes, whereas visual
inspections take 30-60 minutes. Hydrostatic testing is done
off-site and generally takes 1 - 2 weeks. Hydrostatic test
pickup dates are every Thursday.
Probably the most neglected pieces of dive gear would be
the dive cylinder and buoyancy compensators. Please give these
consideration when servicing your equipment.
Annual service is comprised of complete disassembly and cleaning
of regulators, valves, and power inflation units. Upon inspection,
parts will be replaced as necessary and the unit reassembled
and tuned. Standard labor fees for service are $25 per stage
unless otherwise noted. Valve rebuilds are $15 unless otherwise
noted. Buoyancy compensator service is $25. |
