Join SLO Ocean Currents for the PADI Emergency First Response Course. The Emergency First Response Course is designed for use by all walks of life. This course is for people seeking first aid / CPR training to meet diving course requirements, personal enhancement, or as part of a community service activity. Studies have shown that many people fail to provide care in an emergency for fear of doing it wrong. Have you ever stayed out late to watch a meteor shower, a passing comet, or perhaps Mars? It's amazing how much more the sky has to offer after the sun goes down, and the ocean waters are no different. Learning how to be comfortable diving at night opens you up to a whole new world of diving. Many of the ocean's creatures feed at night and hide during the day. Witnessing this changing of the guard first hand is something every diver should have an opportunity to do. That's why we offer the Night Diving course. Learn the safety techniques specific to night diving to ensure you have safe, fun night dives and get the most out of your adventures.

Buoyancy control is a skill that you use on every single dive you ever do. It's something that you can always make just a little bit better. Why not get a jump start on your buoyancy? With the Peak Performance Buoyancy class, you learn many of the techniques you can apply towards achieving effortless neutral buoyancy underwater. This course goes beyond simply wearing the correct amount of weight. You'll learn not only how to find out what the perfect amount of weight is for any situation, but also how to distribute that weight across your body. We'll practice different techniques and tricks in the pool before we head to the ocean for a few hands on dives.
